 ABOUT ME ​​

     I was part of the M&A department at a subsidiary of Constellation Software, a leading software investor that acquires over 100 software businesses annually. In this role, I was identifying and originating deals.

     In mid-2022, I founded RED Sourcing Ltd., which provides deal origination advisory services to international investment firms.

     My typical clients are large private equity investors with ownerships in strategic software assets. They are usually seeking complementary firms to acquire or entirely new investments to build on.

 A SELECTION OF INVESTMENT FIRMS ​​

    I understand that time is valuable. Business owners get approached frequenly by dozens of different and often unsuitable investors. That's why I only work exclusively with large reputable investment firms. They specialize in software, have closed dozens of software deals, provide a strategic rational, with flexible deal terms and competitive offers.

 GROWTH AND EXIT SOLUTIONS 

    I typically speak to business owners and managing directors of software firms who are seeking to exit, find a successor, or scale their business. The primary challenges they face in achieving their growth goals often stem from a lack of capital and expertise. Some of the key issues my clients help them address include:

  • Acquisitions and Integrations: They want to acquire a competitor or partner but lack the knowledge or resources to finance the acquisition and integrate the new business.

  • Transition to Cloud Solutions: They are losing customers to competitors due to an outdated on-premises solution and need guidance, capital, and human resources to transition to a cloud-product.

  • Sales & Marketing: They struggle with expanding into new markets, structuring an effective sales team, selling more to existing customers, winning new customers or pricing their services and products.

  • msu Solutions GmbH: A German software company providing ERP solutions to energy and utility firms, was acquired by Kraftwerk Gruppe, a portfolio company of Elvaston Capital Management.

  • adKOMM GmbH: A German software company offering ERP solutions to municipalities, was acquired by PDV, a portfolio company of Bregal Unternehmerkapital.

  • SoftClean GmbH: A German software company providing ERP solutions to security and building cleaning firms, was acquired by SelectLine Holding, a portfolio company of Elvaston Capital Management.

  • e-komplet A/S: A Danish software company supplying ERP solutions to craftsmen, was acquired by BuildTec Software, a portfolio company of Bregal Unternehmerkapital.

  • Not announced yet: A German software company supplying a horizontal ERP solution, was acquired as a stand alone platform by a large private equity firm.​
